Bubba

Bubba came to The Devoted Barn from a boarding facility where he had been for 18 months.  He was originally rescued from an animal shelter.  His rescuer placed him int he boarding facility so she could work with him and then never came back.  The staff at the boarding facility didn't know how to handle feral dogs so they just left him in his kennel 24/7.  The boarding facility ended up closing its doors 18 months later so he was on his way back to the animal shelter.  This is when the barn stepped in and brought him into our program.  Bubba is such a big ole softy.  He is so sweet and shy for such a big guy!  Bubba will climb right up on your lap for a bite of food but still doesn't trust humans enough to allow us to touch him.  He loves children and he immediately gravitates towards them when it is time for feeding.
