Nugget was born at the barn to Lassie who came to us from St. Landry’s Animal Shelter in Louisiana. We didn’t know when Lassie came in that she was pregnant but she had a litter of 12 and sadly only 4 survived. Nugget was one of the ones that survived and because Lassie wanted nothing to do with being a mom, Nugget was bottle fed by Melissa and her kids. Nugget had health issues so he had a rocky start but he is doing well now.
